In a statement issued on Monday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Eseme Eyiboh, Akpabio labeled the post as “completely fabricated, malicious, and reckless.”

* Official Rebuttal: Akpabio’s media office emphatically denied that the Senate President had ever made such a statement—”not publicly, privately, in writing, or in conversation.”
