
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially scheduled the passing-out ceremony for the 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream 1 corps members for Thursday, November 6, 2025.
In a statement signed on Monday by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the management approved a low-key event to mark the conclusion of the service year. This batch began its mandatory orientation course from October 23 to November 12, 2024.
Key Activities Leading to Passing-Out
The activities leading up to the final ceremony will include:
Job advisory and counseling sessions for corps members across all local government areas nationwide.
The signing and issuance of final clearance letters by Zonal Inspectors to the outgoing corps members.
The Director General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished all the passing-out corps members and Monitoring Officers a successful winding-up and passing-out exercise.
Service Year Overview
The NYSC 2024 Batch ‘C’ Stream One orientation course ran simultaneously across all 37 orientation camps in Nigeria from October 23 to November 12, 2024.
The three-week training introduced corps members to:
Paramilitary drills
Leadership development
Entrepreneurship training under the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme
Community integration
Following the orientation, the corps members served at their respective Places of Primary Assignment (PPA) in critical sectors like education, health, and agriculture, contributing significantly to community development across the country.
