President Bola Tinubu has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Tolu Obamuroh, a distinguished Nigerian legal practitioner, on his promotion to Partner at White & Case LLP, one of the world’s most prestigious international law firms.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information & Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, on Friday, the President celebrated the achievement as a significant global recognition of Nigerian talent.

Effective January 1, 2026, Obamuroh will serve as a Partner in the firm’s International Arbitration Practice in Paris. He is one of only three new partners globally in this specialized practice and the sole Nigerian-qualified lawyer in this year’s global partner class.

Obamuroh has built a career of professional excellence, successfully representing sovereigns and major corporations in high-value, cross-border disputes, particularly within the energy and infrastructure sectors. He also serves as a trusted adviser to the Federal Government on several international matters.
President Tinubu concluded by encouraging young Nigerians to draw inspiration from Obamuroh’s “journey of dedication, discipline, and service.”
